Gray Davis, UCLA and Washington DC

From the Capitol Morning Report:

UCLA has named former Gov. Gray Davis and former Sen. Jim Brulte as Distinguished Policy Fellows for the 2005-2006 school year at its its School of Public Affairs. As such, they’ll teach undergraduate classes in public policy, lecture and participate on panels. For instance, both will attend a UCLA conference Friday in Washington DC called “Government by the People in California: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.” Davis gives the keynote speech and Brulte joins a panel entitled “Arnold’s Propositions: Is the Cure Worse than the Disease?” They’ll also discuss the upcoming special election on a panel set for Nov. 3 and will participate in a post-election panel scheduled for Nov. 17. They join other state politicians at UCLA including former Speaker Herb Wesson and Asm. Keith Richman. Contact: Stan Paul 310 206 8966.
