As DeLay Goes, So Goes Cuellar?

Cuellar's Political Benefactor

Saw Cuellar standing behind his political benefactor Tom DeLay on a WOAI story today. Unfortunately, my Mac and www.WOAI.com don’t get along very well, so I couldn’t do a screen capture. The above chestnut of Cuellar’s electoral sugar daddy will have to do.

DeLay got Cuellar into office by drawing lines designed to dilute black and Hispanic voting power. One way or another Cuellar’s connection to DeLay will get Cuellar tossed from office. Will it be when old lines are restored? Or will simply be when the voters learn that Cuellar spent his 2 years in office voting for the Bush/DeLay legislative agenda? I’m sure the “K Street Project” will take care of Cuellar once he’s out. He’s been their kind of Dem.

Off the Kuff , South Texas Chisme and Dos Centavos have more on DeLay.
